Another vehicle ruined by the "stanced" crowd...

Hmm, Image search gave nothing. So I widened the search to Stanced Jeep... And I found probably the only cool stanced thing ever:
BaconSandwich is tasty.

Ball joint failure? Back in 2005 or so (or maybe it was 2006?) I had a landlord who had one of these, and the exact same thing happened. They issued a recall, like three days later for the exact problem. If I remember correctly, it was because something couldn't be lubricated properly.

No idea, saw this pic on twitter. I had a girlfriend with a 03, suspension problems seemed to be abundant. They had a recall for the rear suspension that would rust out as well.

Yeah this is a lower ball joint failure. This is extremely common on Jeep Liberties and Chrysler Pacificas - it is just a terrible design. I've seen 10+ of these separate just like the picture.
It is dangerous if it fails at speed, but luckily it seems that most of them fail when you are turning very sharp (ie- pulling into a parking spot). The ones that fail when driving WRECK the fender and lower valance... things get ugly fast.
We actually had a guy walk into the shop because his popped apart across the street. We pulled the car over and changed it in the parking lot because we couldn't get it into the bay!
